Gardening is a big thing in Montreal. After those white icy winters, everyone is longing for some warmer days to indulge the scents and colours of spring. The municipalities are getting into the seasonal tasks of beautifying the streets by planting and preserving the natural environment of the city. It is a consistent operation that takes place every beginning of spring and thoughout summer so blooms in public areas and main neighborhood streets stay lively. On the other hand, locals have a share in this picture while preparing their yards and patios with flowers and plants to enjoy a colourful canadian summer. From a little flower pot to soils for plants even legumes seeds, these gardening supplies can generously be chosen from the plethora of markets well stuffed with these products.
Same time, usually by the mids of April, Nature in every corner in Montreal is starting blooming, getting fast greener with these huge trees creating thick refreshing shades all over the island of Montreal.
I think in Canada everybody is participating in creating a beautiful garden.
Here is some of the flowers, plants and trees I encountered while strolling on the island of Montreal.
